Accessibility.

We want you to be able to use this website regardless of device, input method or impairment. Here you can read what we have implemented, where the limits are and how to report barriers to us.

Goal and status

The website was developed with the aim of meeting the requirements of WCAG 2.1 at conformance level AA. The status as of September 2026 was checked with automated tests (axe) on the main page types at 390 and 1440 pixels and with manual keyboard tests. A full evaluation with screen readers and assistive technologies by affected users has not yet been completed. This statement is therefore a self-assessment and does not claim completeness.

What has been implemented

  • Full keyboard operability, including main menu, sub-menu, mobile menu, filters, image gallery, the scroll film’s valuation form and the contact form; visible focus indication.
  • Semantic structure with skip link, landmarks, exactly one main heading per page and labelled regions.
  • Text enlargement up to 200 per cent without loss of content; no horizontal scrollbar on smartphones.
  • Contrast of text and controls at least 4.5:1; touch targets at least 44 pixels.
  • Alternative texts for all content-bearing images; decorative images are hidden from assistive technologies.
  • Forms with visible labels, understandable error messages directly at the field and status messages for assistive technologies.
  • Motion only with a purpose: animations and the scroll film are switched off under the system setting “reduce motion”; the film’s scenes are then shown as still images with their texts.
  • External content is loaded only on request; all links to other providers are marked.

Known limitations

  • The embedded content of the property system ilogu (live overview, full exposé, valuation assistant) is provided by a third party and is available in German only. Its accessibility is outside our control. All essential property information is therefore also available as text on our property pages.
  • Property listing texts, journal posts and client reviews are in German (original sources). We are happy to help in English by phone or e-mail.
  • Linked PDF documents (exposés, property documents) are partly not accessible. On request we provide the information in another form.
  • Map services are linked only; directions are available as text.

Legal framework

Whether and to what extent the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) applies to the services on this website is currently being reviewed. Regardless of that, we pursue WCAG 2.1 AA as our quality standard.
